Several scholarships fall under more than one criteria but for organizational purposes, they are categorized under one section only.

Financial Need
Wings ProgramMust be in Wings program. Offers support to students pursuing Associate in Science (AS) degrees or college credit certificates. Partial tuition, funds for textbooks, and some childcare assistance are among the services provided to eligible students. To qualify, students must be eligible for a Pell Grant.
DreamKeepers Student Emergency FundDreamkeepers (DK) Emergency Scholarship Fund makes it possible for HCC students to stay in school in the face of emergencies that might otherwise cause them to drop out. An emergency is defined as an unexpected situation, which demands immediate attention of the student (not an ongoing expense) that significantly interferes with the student’s ability to stay enrolled in school.

Cathy Zaccari Memorial Nursing ScholarshipCathy Zaccari died suddenly at the age of 48. She was a registered nurse. Her family created this scholarship in her memory.
Dental HygieneThis fund was created by two HCC employees who are no longer at the college. Funds are slowly being depleted and need replenishing.
Minority
HOPE Scholars ScholarshipsMust be in HOPE Scholars program. HOPE Scholars is a program designed to improve retention, graduation and the four year college transfer rate of African American and Hispanic males. Scholars in the program are provided tutorial services and attend workshops, seminars, and four-year college or university tours. Scholars also benefit from faculty mentoring and the opportunity to build relationships beyond their classrooms.

HCC Kids CollegeHCC Kids’ College Scholarship fund makes it possible for youths of low-income families in our community to attend a week of summer camp and create life-long memories at HCC through the amazing programs offered. Kids College provides youth with engaging activities that challenges them intellectually, physically and creatively. Make a difference in a child’s life!
International Student Scholarship The Center for International Education and HCC Foundation have established the International Student Scholarship to help academically dedicated F-1 international students achieve their goals. Three scholarships (one, $1000 scholarship and two, $500 scholarships) will be awarded.
