While at Leto High School in Tampa, I was an unfocused student. Fortunately, my guidance counselor recommended me for the HCC Presidential Scholarship, which helped pay for my education. HCC, with small class sizes and engaging professors, assisted me in building the foundation necessary for academic success. HCC prepared me to transition to the rigors of a university. I earned my A.A. at HCC and transferred to the University of South Florida where I graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance. After an internship with a Wall Street investment firm, my career trajectory was set. I’ve been a principle owner of CAPTRUST Financial Advisers for the last 20 years. It’s no surprise that my HCC education continues to pay dividends.
