The Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees appointed Ms. Lee Lowry Director of Development for the HCC Foundation, Inc. In her new position with the Foundation, Ms. Lowry will be responsible for expanding the fundraising efforts of the college and increasing awareness of HCC’s impact on the region’s workforce, as well as the stewardship of existing donors. Prior to joining HCC, Ms. Lowry served as the Director of Development and Communications for the St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School. In addition to other senior roles in her career, Lowry has actively served on public initiatives such as Florida Statewide Council on Human Trafficking, 2013-14 President of The Junior League of Tampa (JLT), Chair of the Hillsborough County Commission’s Citizens Advisory Committee and Mayoral appointee to the Tampa Police Department’s Citizen Review Board. Hillsborough Community College serves over 45,000 students annually at its five campuses located throughout Tampa Bay. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The HCC Foundation, Inc. is the fundraising arm of Hillsborough Community College.
