Representative Ross Spano first found his calling in life as a non-traditional student at HCC in 1987. Like so many other HCC students trying to make ends meet, Spano attended evening classes after working a full-time schedule during the day. Graduating from HCC put him on a pathway to the future of his dreams.
“I found that I have a desire to help people that can’t help themselves,” Spano said.
Today, he represents District 59 in the Florida House of Representatives and dedicates his life to the needs of his family, friends, constituents and faith. He also serves as managing partner of a Riverview law firm, founder of the Brandon Business Network International chapter, board member for the Brandon Foundation, and tireless advocate for the victims of human trafficking.
