What a day on the water! The Hillsborough Community College Foundation extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined us at the 2025 HCC Hawks, Line & Sinker Inshore Fishing Tournament on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the scenic Hula Bay Club.
From early-morning registration and breakfast (sponsored by Williams Co.) to a lively awards ceremony and buffet (courtesy of Crown Automotive Group), the day was filled with sunshine, great catches, and even greater generosity. We’re also grateful to Baker Barrios for providing lunch, and to all our anglers, sponsors, and volunteers who made this event an unforgettable experience.
Because of your support, the proceeds from this tournament will directly benefit workforce scholarships and programs at Hillsborough Community College — empowering students to build stronger futures and our community to thrive.
As Jimmy Buffett once said, “But I got to stop wishing, got to go fishing.” Thanks to all who cast their lines for a cause that truly makes waves.
