SCHOLARSHIPS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

William A. Gregory Jr. Foundation Matching Gift Challenge

Since 2013, the William A. Gregory Jr. Foundation has donated $25,000 each year to fund ten $2,500 scholarships for HCC students. So far, they’ve provided scholarships to nearly 30 students with diverse backgrounds, areas of study and needs.

“With every scholarship, we can change lives,” said Gregory Foundation Trustee Chris Taylor. “Our goal is the help break the cycle of poverty for families through our support of HCC. Many of our scholarship recipients are first-generation college students.”

Meet the Gregory Challenge

The Gregory Foundation recently renewed its commitment to provide $25,000 for scholarships annually for the next two years. In addition, they increased their reach by issuing the Gregory Challenge. For the next two years, the Challenge will match scholarship gifts from new donors to the HCC Foundation dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 annually.
