Patrick Sherman Brathwaite, J.D., a proud alumnus of the Dr. Lydia R. Daniel Honors Program (Class of 2012–2013), embodied excellence, purpose, and leadership. After graduating cum laude from the University of Florida and earning his Juris Doctor, he opened his own law firm and inspired many along the way.
Patrick’s unexpected passing on May 27, 2025, was a profound loss. To honor his legacy, a scholarship fund has been established through the HCC Foundation to support future Honors students on their journey to lead and thrive.
