In 2022, The National Board for Respiratory Care gave $5,000 in scholarships to HCC’s CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program. Through their Choose to Give initiative, they made this donation in recognition of the growing shortage of respiratory therapists in the medical profession.
They believe that this provides the opportunity to help address the need and create a better, brighter future for all.
Inspired by the generosity of NBRC, the HCC Foundation and Respiratory Care faculty wish to create an endowment for the Respiratory Care program. We have almost met our goal. $3725 is needed to get to the $10,000 necessary to create an endowment fund. With the help of the Tampa Bay community and HCC alumni, we can exceed this number and provide valuable assistance to the next generation to come.
