Please consider a gift to our HCC Disaster Relief Fund
Hurricane Helene caused considerable damage in our community, as well as areas north of our state. Students, staff, and faculty at HCC are facing overwhelming challenges as they deal with the loss of essential resources—homes, vehicles, food, and clothing.
Many of you wish to help members of our HCC family who are struggling right now because of the destruction left by the storm. The HCC Foundation has established a Disaster Relief Fund to directly help our families with financial need during this very difficult time. Please help our colleagues and students by donating to this fund and the Foundation will provide assistance to those in need by giving grants to them directly.
Please use this link to give to the HCC Disaster Relief Fund:
All money contributed will be given to our HCC families in need. Please help us spread the word about this assistance by letting your colleagues know about the fund. They simply need to email the Executive Director of the HCC Foundation at: lweddle@hccfl.edu with pictures of damages they have from the storm.
We also have another fund available for students in need and they can apply for emergency assistance by asking for help from any Faculty Counselor and request help from the DreamSavers Fund. Students can schedule an appointment at the following link: HCC Counselors
We are here to help our HCC family in time of need. Thank you for your consideration

Damon Arnold

Through this turmoil, my professors were amazing and they not only helped me get through the lower level classes,... Learn More

Education is a precious thing that is denied of many people. I know this first hand, having grown up in Afghanistan at a time when educating girls was illegal. When I was young, I did chores for a neighbor who in exchange, offered to teach me. In 2012, at 20-years-old, I immigrated to the U.S., and in 2013 had my daughter. Still yearning for knowledge, I enrolled at HCC because... Learn More

After earning an associate degree at... Learn More
