Three HCC students from diverse backgrounds have one mission this summer: to do something incredible, impactful, and transformational while setting the stage for future HCC students to do the same. Kay, Carlo, and Rafat are working to establish the first ever student-driven endowment at HCC. Their experience as HCC students who served as leaders while dealing with their own financial struggles inspired them to help others like themselves. The Dale Mabry Student Leader Endowment will reward students who are demonstrated leaders on their campus or in their community with a scholarship to assist with classes or other college-related expenses.
Our students will need strong alumni and community support to reach the $10,000 required to create The Student Leader Endowment. We look to you to be the catalyst that helps build this legacy. Every dollar donated to this endowment makes an impact. Your generous gift will cultivate our student leaders of today into trailblazers of tomorrow. It will also encourage college-wide, student driven philanthropy, the cornerstone of growing this fund for future generations.
